Youth Ministry
The Youth program at First Baptist is open to all young people in Grades 6-12. Our group meets for Sunday School on Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:30, on Sunday evenings from 5:00-7:00 in combination with the youth from Hay St United Methodist Church, and on Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:00. In addition to these regularly scheduled activities, we have additional times that we meet for fun/fellowship, spiritual development, and for outreach and missions work.
Sunday Night Live
On Sunday evenings from 5:00-7:00 Sunday Night Live (a.k.a., SNL) meets in combination with the youth from Hay St United Methodist Church (and occasionally with other groups). We alternate locations for meeting with Hay St UMC across the street. The schedule for the evening consists of a light meal, recreational activities, Bible study, and praise band (Ichthus).
Wednesday Nights
On Wednesday evenings, the youth of FBC meet in the youth suite from 6:00-7:00 pm for a more relaxed time of conversation, board games, and study time plus a period of group devotion focusing on a variety of topics applicable to their day-to-day life.
