First Baptist is located at 201 Anderson Street (at the corner
of Anderson and Old Streets) in historic downtown Fayetteville,
NC.
The lot FBC is on was part of 200 acres granted by King George
II to Thomas Brooks on, September 22, 1750. In 1832 Col. Charles
McAllister bought the lot and later sold the property to the trustees
of the church for $200, McAllister was an early church member. The
present church building was begun in 1906 and was completed and
dedicated on May 1, 1910.

From North
Follow Ramsey Street until it turns into Green Street. Go past the
Post Office and the Systel Building to the stoplight and turn right
on Maiden Lane. Go two blocks and FBC is on your left.
From South
Follow US 301/Business 95 and turn left on Person Street. Follow
Person Street until you reach the Market House, then turn right.
At the next stoplight, turn left onto Maiden Lane. Go two blocks
and FBC is on your left.
From East
Follow Highway 24 until it turns into Grove Street. At the intersection
of Grove Street and Green Street, turn left onto Green Street. Go
past the Post Office and the Systel Building to the stoplight and
turn right on Maiden Lane. Go two blocks and FBC is on your left.
From West
Follow Morganton Road until it turns into Hay Street. Go past the
Train Station and Clarion Hotel until you reach the stoplight at
the 5 points intersection of Hay Street, Ray Ave, and Old Street.
Turn half-left onto Old Street, go two blocks and FBC is on your
left.
Driving Directions from Fort Bragg
All American
Follow the All American to the Morganton Road exit - take a left
onto Morganton Road. Follow Morganton Road until it turns
into Hay Street. Go past the Train Station and Clarion Hotel until
you reach the stoplight at the 5 points intersection of Hay Street,
Ray Ave, and Old Street. Turn half-left onto Old Street, go two
blocks and FBC is on your left.
Bragg Blvd.
Follow Bragg Blvd. until you reach the intersection of Grove Street.
Take a left onto Grove Street. At your first traffic light
take a right onto Ray Ave. Follow Ray Ave. until you come
to a round-about. Turn onto Maiden Lane - the third turn off
the round-about. Go two blocks and FBC is on your right.
